Moledro is currently open to applications for the following positions, from high school and college students around the world. Please note that all positions at Moledro are unpaid.
SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
The Social Media Manager is in charge of spreading the word about Moledro Magazine on different social media platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. He/She will also be in charge of helping us grow our audience and circle of supporters. The expected time commitment is 1 hour per week.
Please email Richa Gupta at firstname.lastname@example.org, explaining why you’d like to join, and what makes you qualified for the position. You may also attach a concise resume. The Social Media Manager is required to work closely with the editor-in-chief.
The Interview Correspondent will be in charge of contacting writers/artists, conducting interviews with them, and piecing everything together to form a compelling story. All interviews will be published on the Moledro blog, and will be widely shared on social media. Previous interviews may be read here and here.
Please send an email to email@example.com explaining why you would like to be an interview correspondent for Moledro Magazine. You can also attach a resume, detailing any previous experience (although this isn't necessary). The expected time commitment is 1-2 hours per week. Interview Correspondents will work closely with the editor-in-chief, and will be expected to respond promptly and regularly to emails.
BLOG EDITOR (Currently CLOSED)
The blog editor will be in charge of reading and evaluating submissions to the Moledro blog, as well as recommending accept or reject. The expected time commitment is 1-3 hours per week, depending on the volume of submissions received.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org listing any previous blogging/editing experience. Please note that we are looking for people with a reasonable amount of experience in this field. The blog editor will be expected to work closely with the editor-in-chief.
A blog writer will be responsible for writing for the Moledro blog on a regular basis, whether it is once a week, twice a month, or once a month. You are free to experiment with different topics and styles, as long as they somehow relate to writing, poetry, art, opinions, or social media. You may also interview people who you believe fit the aesthetic of Moledro Magazine. Once you become a blog writer, you are expected to make a commitment, and submit regularly to email@example.com.
No prior experience is required to become a blog writer. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with a potential topic for a column, or with a finalized article. While we consider previously published articles/posts, we have a preference for unpublished work.
